The Divine Trash Trend Bucket List - What We Love This Spring...
What will we be loving this Spring 13? Here are some of the best trends that Divine Trash will be taking on and buying into...
Summer pastels but especially PINK - This can be seen in may different forms be it in your hair, floral fabrics and bold prints, lipsticks, nails, blushers and if you really want to impress introduce it to your home decor by adding a delightful vase of tulips to your front room, how quaint!
Cropped silhouettes - This can be cropped tops, pants or try turn ups on your jeans. These look cool with flats or heels and we still love that androgynous brogue look with classic turned up jeans or chinos and a slim fit buttoned up shirt.
Asymmetric maxi's and dipped hemlines - We have seen a lot of this over the Christmas period for party wear however this spring/summer we will see more fluid pieces maybe with heavier layering and not just on skirts. It will be seen on hemlines of all lengths such as t-shirts, blouses knee length skirts and midi's. The longer tops are also a very complimentary way of hiding your bottom as well as they are cut slightly longer at the back.
Peplums are big business and are sticking around - They can be seen on pencil skirts, dresses, tops and even trousers this season and in many fabrics and prints such as lace, floral print, cosmic print and of course block colour plains. A good investment for SS13 and a stylish piece for all ages to wear.
The two piece - It gives us much more scope to experiment with styles, fabrics and colours and we are still a big fan of the clashing prints trend. Opt for a bold coloured skirt and a heavily printed blouse buttoned to the top with some heeled brogues for instant fashion perfection!
Parkas - Great in the summer and great in the winter - This trend is pretty much all year round but we couldn't resist putting it on the bucket list for SS13. Dont just stick to the traditional olive/khaki colour, go for pastel shades of grey or pinks for a fresh modern look on the trend.
Cut outs have been mentioned in earlier blog posts but we still love this trend and think for party wear it will be super sexy. Keeping your skin exfoliated, buffed and bronzed is a good way to wear this trend as all parts of your decolletage, shoulders and back maybe exposed.
Just a few trends to look out for on your shopping travels!

The Patterned Blouse Wardrobe Staple
Always wondering what items the fash pack are saying is this seasons winner?...Well look no further as the patterned blouse has to be one of the very best wardrobe staples around. The options are endless with a classically patterned verstaille blouse and over the years we have seen them in many different variaties such as long sleeve, short sleeve, pussy bow tie, translucent, floral, paisley, high neck, low neck, grandad collar, traditional collar and of course the classic white work shirt. These styles are all staple elements that every lady should endure in her wardrobe. I especially like the fast fashion and very affordable polyester shirts, these are generally very long lasting and are easy to wash, with no need to iron.....A total winner! They are diverse enough to just throw on with jeans, this can easily be skinny or bootcut, elegant enough to tuck into some wide leg trousers for more formal occasions and a great choice to take on holiday simply for their lightweight, no iron necessary material and fabulous for the cooler evenings on the coast.
The patterned blouse has truly made its stamp this season due to its stylish longevity and affordable accessibility. The coolest trick in the book is to make sure you wear it buttoned up to the very top, team with skinny jeans, a blazer, biker boots and an oversized costume necklace for a casual dressed down daytime look.
This Autumn Winter we see labels Vila, Vero Moda and French Connection produce a delectable array of this seasons must have garment. Choose from a selection of colours, styles and prices to suit all tastes and be stylish spotted in the seasons one and only pattered blouse.
