Well its that time again, and what a year it has been. The internet has gone from strength to strength thanks to those of you who have supported us throughout our third year of trading. The website has been a phenomenal success and we have been privileged enough to work some fantastic (and not so fantastic) brands because if it, gaining an amazing presence on google which has helped turnaround our stock faster, giving you much more choice, on a more frequent basis. With plans next year to double the size of the site and offer a wider range such as shoes, accessories, jewellery etc.

So really, it is all down to you, the customer, and as a retailer in this present climate we cannot thank you enough.

The Mighty Boosh

Divine Trash were proud sponsors of The Mighty Boosh on the 1st and 2nd of October at Buxton Opera House. The show went off with a bang and all the fans seemed extremely chuffed with the royal performance! I was even speaking to a couple who had travelled all the way up from Kent (thats is a 6 hour journey by car) and who were only staying that one night before travelling all that way back down! That is true dedication. Noel Fielding, Howard Moon and the rest of the crew then took part in a little after show madness at The Palace Hotel and behaved like true rock stars - smashing the place up and even writing on walls! My friend Dan even went one step further and through a drink in a cast members face as he was so arrogant! It just goes to show that money doesn't buy you manners! Anyway DT will be sponsoring another 2 shows over the next 12 months so keep eyes peeled for more dates and events.

In the face of the current economic climate, Divine Trash's online business is buckling market trends much like ASOS, with strong market growth. Arron and I have just started training to get fit for or holiday in Ibiza at the end of August-Getting into a bikini is a scary process when you have been covered up for such a long time, however with the help of Chris (at a very competitive price may I add) we are able to do it!

An RSPCA investigation into the puppy trade has found evidence of sick and dying puppies being sold as family pets. Bred on puppy farms, often outside the UK and then sold by some pet shops, via internet classified sites and local newspaper adverts, many of these puppies fall sick - some die - just months after they have started life with their new owners. Laura's Holiday and Stock Update

Laura heads of to Magaluf on Monday for a week, however the beautiful Lucy will be in all week/weekend to make sure no-one will miss out on a bargain. OMG! - What an amazing 2 years DT has had. Going from strength to strength and hopefully re-locating soon to bigger premises.
In the past 2 years we have had several features in the local and national media such as: The Independant on Sunday Newspaper, Drapers Magazine, The Derby Telegraph, The Buxton Advertiser, Buxton Football Club Programme, Peak District Life, Derbyshire Life, Business Link Case Studies Magazine and Happy Magazine (part of cosmopolitan). Divine Trash recently celebrated it's 1st Birthday (27th May 2007) in style by having a Fashion Show held at Derby University's Buxton campus.

Friends and family gathered to see Divine Trash showcase collections from Pop boutique, Traffic People, Vila, Numph and Supreme Being.

The show went down like a storm and plans are to have it bigger and better next year!
